When was the last time you had it reviewed and updated. If not in the last year, I encourage you to do it now. Did you know that you can add on a variety of extra coverages for a minimum cost? I have coverage for service line failure (sewer), and additional coverage for leakage. Knowing that my homeowner’s insurance has me covered gives me great comfort.
A critical element beyond just having good coverage is having someone you trust that you can call who will be there to guide you through the process. And it is a process if you need to file a major claim.
