A chance meeting with a family of camel herders

Mongolia is a vast country, and 10 days is not nearly enough time to explore it. I was able to spend 3 wild days on trip to the Gobi Desert, where we hiked, “off roaded” ( because the road conditions were quite primitive once off the highway…), rode a horse, ate traditional foods, including drinking fresh camel milk, and spent 2 nights in traditional “gers”. Ger is the Mongolian word for what we call a yurt.
