My trip to Mongolia was in fact partially a business trip! I joined a delegation of fellow Realtors to participate in the National Association of Realtors and Washington Realtors continuing relationship and information exchange with the Real Estate Academy of Mongolia!
We met leaders of Mongolia’s regulatory agencies and the #2 ranking member of Parliament to discuss how the US has handled Real Estate licensing and Agency issues to modernize Mongolia’s real estate industry, and we attended a forum to discuss how to build strong license laws and a code of ethics. It was so exciting to feel the energy and enthusiasm of the young brokers building a new industry. We also visited several real estate offices and toured 3 properties.
